WKFM and WLKR collecting items for military members and their families

MILAN – 92.9 WLKR Classic, 95.3 WLKR, and K96 WKFM are collecting items for military members and their families for their 14th annual Step Up For Soldiers Program.

The program benefits USO Ohio. USO Care Packages are sent to bases and military installations. USO Ohio is prioritizing the delivery of USO Care Packages to those service members who have been activated in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Donations for this year’s Step Up for Soldiers program include various health and wellness items (i.e., razors, cotton swabs, toothpaste, playing cards, puzzles,), non-perishable food items (i.e., including drink mixes, canned good, fruit snacks), and more.

Donations will be accepted until December 18 and can be dropped off at any of the locations below.
