Columbus teacher arrested by Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force

COLUMBUS – A Columbus City Schools teacher was arrested by the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and Columbus Division of Police Chief Elaine Bryant announced Wednesday.

Robert Pea, 60, of Columbus, was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with one count of compelling prostitution (F3).

Pea is accused of contacting a minor victim through an online advertisement and engaging in sexual activity for hire.

The case is part of an ongoing human trafficking investigation.
