Monday, October 4 is the last day to register to vote for the November 2 election in Ohio; how to register to vote in Erie County

SANDUSKY – Monday, October 4 is the last day to register to vote for the November 2, 2021 in Ohio. Here’s how to find out if you’re registered to vote and, if you’re not, how to register. This information mostly applies to residents of Erie County.

To be qualified to vote you must be:

  • A citizen of the United States
  • At least 18 years old on or before the day of the general election
  • A resident of Ohio for at least 30 days before the election

To check if you are registered to vote:

If you are not registered to vote or your information is incorrect, do one of the following to get registered:

  • In-person at any county board of election (the Erie County Board of Elections is located at 2900 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870), the Secretary of State’s Office, any branch registration office or location established by a board of elections, any public high school or vocational school, any Ohio BMV office, a office of a designated agency which provides public assistance or disability programs, public libraries, or a County treasurer’s office.
  • Online at Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose’s website.
  • By mail with this form. The form must be postmarked by October 4.
