Ohio State Highway Patrol reports 12 fatal traffic crashes during Labor Day weekend

COLUMBUS – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is reporting that 12 people lost their lives in 12 traffic crashes on Ohio roadways between Friday, September 3 and Monday, September 6.

There were fatal crashes in Erie, Huron, and Lorain counties.

Also during the weekend, state troopers made 420 arrests for impaired driving, 292 arrests for drug-related charges, and 128 felony apprehensions. Troopers also conducted 18,195 enforcement stops and 9,729 non-enforcement stops and provided assistance to 1,861 motorists.
