Huron County Lowest COVID-19 Case Rate Per 100K

At the Thursday, October 29 Coronavirus Press Conference, it was shown that Huron County had the lowest COVID-19 cases rate per 100K people. The rate was 61.8 cases per 100K people. From October 14 to October 27, the County had 36 new cases. The County has a population 58,266.

By comparison, Erie County has a case rate of 122.5 cases per 100K people. The highest county, Putnam County, has a case rate of 915.5 cases per 100K people.

Huron County is one of only five counties in Ohio that is not high incidence. The County is currently Orange Alert Level 2.
