Age-progression image released of Portsmouth woman who went missing 8 years ago

PORTSMOUTH – The Ohio Attorney General’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Portsmouth Police Department released an age-progression image of Megan Lancaster, a missing southern Ohio woman, on Thursday.

Lancaster has been missing since April 3, 2013. She was last seen in the area of Wheelersburg, Ohio. Her car was found abandoned on April 5, 2013, at a fast food restaurant in Portsmouth. She may be the victim of a possible abduction.

Lancaster was 25 years old when she went missing and would now be 33. At the time of her disappearance, she was 5’6″, 115 pounds, had blond hair, and had brown eyes. She also has a birthmark on the upper left side of her stomach and a tattoo of colorful angel wings on her right shoulder with the word “Rhys” in cursive writing.

“As a forensic tool, an age-progression images may be helpful to renew the public’s interest in a case and might just bring out a tip that solves the case,” Attorney General Dave Yost said.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Portsmouth Police Department at 740-353-4101.
