1,418 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed and 167 new hospitalizations in Ohio

COLUMBUS – Since Monday in the State of Ohio, 1,418 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 880,898. 167 people were hospitalized. 54,334 people have now been hospitalized from COVID-19 in Ohio. 38,740 people begun the vaccination process. 4,160,582 people in Ohio or 35.59% of Ohio’s population have now begun the vaccination process. 61,755 people also finished the vaccination process. 2,705,814 people or 23.15% of Ohio’s population have now finished the vaccination process. Since Friday, 90 Ohioans died from COVID-19. 18,917 Ohioans have now died from COVID-19.
