Huron Tiger diving team ties for first at state meet

Canton, OH – At Thursday’s Division II state swimming and diving meet, the Huron Tiger diving team tied for first with the Hawken School Hawks and the Lexington Minutemen. They finished with 20 points.

The Huron diving team consists of Junior Joey Lenczyk and Sophomore Max Wasiniak.

Individually, Lenczyk finished 8th with 871.05 points, and Wasiniak finished 9th with 366.70 points. Lenczyk’s 8th place finish ties Jack Ineson’s 2015 finish in the 200 IM for the highest finish ever for Huron at the boys swimming and diving state meet.
