13 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Erie County

Columbus, OH and Sandusky, OH – Since Wednesday in Erie County, 13 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 4,485. 127 people have now been hospitalized from COVID-19 at Firelands Regional Medical Center. Four of those people are currently being treated. 174 people are also currently under quarantine or isolation. The Erie County Health Department also announced that, due to a decline in COVID-19 numbers, numbers for Erie County will only be released on Fridays.

Since Thursday in the State of Ohio, 1,324 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 827,473. 58 more people died from COVID-19. 17,183 people have now died of COVID-19 in Ohio. 167 people were hospitalized. 42,853 people begun the vaccination process. 1,573,435 people in Ohio or 13.46% of Ohio’s population have now begun the vaccination process. 41,319 people also finished the vaccination process. 813,569 people or 6.96% of Ohio’s population have now finished the vaccination process.
