Vermilion holding Veterans Day ceremony

VERMILION – The City of Vermilion will be holding a Veterans Day Ceremony in Exchange Park on Saturday, November 11 at 11:00AM.

The City says the event will include words from veterans and a cannon salute. There will also be a soup and sandwich lunch, which is sponsored by and held at the Amvets on Route 60.

In their announcement, the City named several veterans who are Vermilion residents. Those residents include Bill Huston, Hank Frizzi, Joe Harold, Melvin Pine, Harlan Chapman, Bill Noltner and Robert Mouser.
