Traffic back to normal on State Route 4

BELLEVUE – The Ohio Department of Transportation’s roadway construction project on State Route 4 north has ended.

The project, which began on began on July 31, resulted in a lengthy detour from the Ohio Turnpike’s Toll Plaza 110 (Sandusky-Bellevue).

The purpose of the project was to convert of the intersection at State Route 4, State Route 99 and Skadden Road, between Mason and Portland roads in Erie County, into a single-lane roundabout was completed and reopened to traffic on August 30.
