Thousands remain without power following storms
ERIE COUNTY – Thousands of people across northern Ohio remain without power following Wednesday night’s thunderstorms.
As of Thursday afternoon, FirstEnergy is reporting that 1,367 customers in Erie County or 3.32% of their customers in the county remain without power. Most of the outages are in Florence Township, Perkins Township, the city of Sandusky, and Vermilion Township.
Additionally, over 3,000 FirstEnergy customers are without power in Lorain County.
FirstEnergy is expecting to have power restored to most of their customers by 11PM on Friday.
