Frank Muscioni

Frank V. Muscioni, 87, of Sandusky, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 14, 2023, in his sleep at the Providence Care Center, Sandusky.

Born on October 6, 1935, on Kelley’s Island, Ohio the son of Vincent and Lucia (Macina) Muscioni. He was a 1953 graduate of Sandusky High School. Frank was a veteran having served honorably in the U.S. Army as a guided missile instructor. Over the years, Frank had enjoyed cooking and eating a good meal with his family and friends.

Frank, with his wife Joan, had owned and operated “The Pump” for over 40 years until they retired.

He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Italian-American Beneficial Club where he was a past president, and a life member of the A.M.V.E.T.S. Post # 17.

Frank is survived by his son, Frank J. (Chris Kaman) Muscioni; and his four grandchildren, Raquel L. Muscioni, Jason M. McCormick, Joseph V. McCormick and Jude D.F. McCormick.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of over 60 years, Josephine J. “Joan” (Lazzara) Muscioni on May 10, 2021; his daughter, Charlene Crawford; a brother, Anthony J. “Tony” Muscioni; and two sisters, Emma Scally and Judy Farrar.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023, from 4-7 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. A funeral service will be held Tuesday morning, June 20, 2023, at 10 am at the funeral home. Deacon Phil Dinovo officiating. Entombment will be in the Meadow Green Memorial Park Mausoleum, Huron, OH. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #83 and the VFW Post # 2529.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his name to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870.
