It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bill, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Bill passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving behind a profound legacy and cherished memories.

Born and raised in Ohio, Bill called Berlin Heights his home since 1979. Throughout his life, he held a deep love and commitment to his family, his craft, and his community. His marriage to Brenda spanned over 50 years, a union characterized by unwavering support, enduring love, and shared adventures.

Bill dedicated over four decades of his working life to Delphi, where he tirelessly served on the assembly line, expertly resolving any challenges that arose. Colleagues knew him as a dependable and skilled troubleshooter, always ready to dissect a problem and restore operations. His ability to comprehend the inner workings of objects allowed him to dismantle and mend them with ease. “Once I knew how something worked, I could figure out how to take it apart and fix it,” he often remarked, showcasing his innate curiosity and problem-solving skills.

Bill’s passion for woodworking extended beyond mere hobbyism. He meticulously crafted numerous rifles and shotguns, presenting friends and family with cherished gifts. Each piece was a testament to his skill, love, and attention to detail. In addition, his expertise extended to the world of classic cars, where he reveled in the art of restoration. With his hands, he rebuilt engines and transformed classic cars into pristine hotrods. Bill’s love for motorsports and muscle cars spanned a lifetime, fueling his enthusiasm and sparking admiration among fellow enthusiasts.

Beyond his professional achievements and love for cars, Bill was known for his kind and generous spirit. He was always willing to lend a hand to friends and neighbors, sharing his expertise and knowledge whenever needed. Bill’s warm smile, gentle demeanor, and willingness to help made him a cherished figure in Berlin Heights, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Bill’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of his beloved family. His legacy as a skilled craftsman, a master of all things mechanical, and a passionate lover of motorsports will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to witness his talents firsthand.
