Edison wrestling team finish state runners-up
COLUMBUS – The Edison Chargers wrestling team are the OHSAA Division III state runners-up.
113lbs Sophomore Abe Hermes, 120lbs Senior Max Hermes, 144lbs Junior Marcus Medina, and 150lbs Junior Kohen Horvath all advanced to the State Wrestling Tournament and the final championship rounds.
Both Abe and Max Hermes won the championship for their weight classes.
This is Max’s third state championship. He has committed to wrestle at Division I Rutgers University.
Horvath finished third in his weight class, and Medina finished fifth.
