The bicyclist, a 44-year-old Sandusky, was transported to Firelands Regional Medical Center for a possible minor injury. At the hospital, he complained of pain, but no visible injuries were observed, the report states.

According to the report, the bicyclist claimed that the crash actually occurred 0.2 miles north at the intersection of East Monroe Street and Warren Street, where there is a traffic light. Physical evidence disputed this claim, the report states.
