Ohio State Highway Patrol Norwalk Post Trooper of the Year announced

NORWALK – Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Jordan Cole has been selected as the 2022 Trooper of the Year at the Norwalk Post.

Fellow officers stationed at Norwalk chose Trooper Cole, 28, because of his “leadership abilities, professional ethics, courteous treatment of others, enthusiastic work attitude, and cooperation with supervisors, peers, and the public.”

Trooper Cole joined the Highway Patrol in 2017 and has served at the Norwalk Post his entire career. He is originally from Milan and is a graduate of Edison High School. Trooper Cole currently resides in Erie County.

He is now in contention for the District and State Trooper of the Year Award to be announced at a later date.
