Mark Hawk

Mark A. Hawk, 73, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday afternoon, October 20, 2022, unexpectedly at home.

Mark was born on January 3, 1949 to the late Dwight and Violet (Shroyer) Hawk.

Mark had been employed by P & P Packaging in Monroeville, Ohio for many years. He served in the U.S Marines during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed playing softball, pool, and watching old westerns. He also enjoyed Bob Seger, the Ohio sports teams, and spending time with his family.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Andrea (William) Hawk- Long, Sr. of Sandusky; grandchildren, Taylor Long, William Long and Brooklyn Long, all of Sandusky; sister, Cecilia Curtis of Sandusky; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Farrel.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 11:00 am at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Pastor Wally Gilbert will officiate.
