Sheryl Brown

Sheryl “Sherry” A. Brown, 70, of New London and formerly of North Fairfield, passed away Friday, September 23, 2022 at the Cleveland Clinic following a brief illness.

She was born in Maryland, on June 1, 1952 the daughter of the late Joseph and Joanne (Wilson) Werner.

Sherry was a member of St Paul Catholic Church, Norwalk and graduated from St Paul High School in 1970. She retired from Olympus Surgical Technologies where she worked as a medical assembler. She was an avid reader and enjoyed a good mystery.

Sherry is survived by her faithful companion, her dog Mindy; cousins, Vicki Palmer, Gregg Palmer, Jill Palmer, Pam (Mike) Roggeman, Geoff (Jodie) Palmer and several close and supportive friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Brown in 2020, and brother, Michael Werner.

Graveside services will be conducted 11am Saturday, October 1, 2022 at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Norwalk. Arrangements by Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory, Sandusky.
