SANDUSKY – A 26-year-old man was arrested Monday after he allegedly shouted that he was going to murder people with a firearm outside the Wolf Inn and then locked the door to his room when police came.

According to a report from the Perkins Township Police Department, at 3:30AM, officers responded to the Wolf Inn for a report of a man shouting that he has a firearm and is going to murder people. The caller, according to the report, stated that he believed that the man did not have a firearm, but was intoxicated.

When police arrived, according to the report, the man, Justin Hinkle, went back into his room and refused to come out to speak with police. The report states that when police tried to speak to him, he yelled that he is “tired of being harassed” and “I’ll kill you, I’ll kill you, stop harassing me.”

After attempting to have Hinkle come out of his room for about 15 minutes, police decided to clear the scene and file charges, the report states.

Soon after, according to the report, police were called back to the motel for a report of Hinkle yelling outside his room. When police returned, according to the report, Hinkle again returned to his room and refused to come out.
