8 Ohio Counties Now Purple Alert Level 4

At the Thursday, December 3 Ohio Coronavirus Press Conference, it was announced that eight Ohio counties are now Purple Alert Level 4. They are also High Incidence. Medina, Portage, Richland, Stark, and Summit Counties were moved up from Red Alert Level 3. Lake, Lorain, and Montgomery remain Level 4 from last week. Cuyahoga, Fairfield, and Madison are on the Level 4 watch list. Franklin County, the first Purple Alert Level 4, was moved back down to Red Alert Level 3.

Locally, Erie, Huron, Ottawa, Sandusky, and Seneca Counties remain High Incidence Red Alert Level 3. Lorain County remains a High Incidence Purple Alert Level 4.
