Man accused of throwing woman out of car

HURON – A man has been charged with multiple felonies after he allegedly threw a woman out of her car following an argument.

According to a report from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, on April 7, a deputy was dispatched to the area of 3500 Bogart Road for a domestic violence incident. When he arrived, a woman told him that she had a physical altercation with her ex-boyfriend Kelvin Suarez, 27, of Elyria.

According to the report, the woman claimed that, while she, Suarez, and a family member were traveling to work together, the two got into an argument about their relationship. According to the report, during the argument, she claimed that she asked him multiple times to leave her vehicle; however, he refused to. She said, according to the report, that Suarez eventually Suarez opened the front passenger’s door where she was seated, threw her from the vehicle onto the middle of road, and left with her vehicle.

Suarez has been charged with abduction (F3), domestic violence (F4), assault (M1), and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle (M1). He was arrested six days after the incident on April 13.
