UPDATED: 2 adults, 3 children killed following Fulton County crash

WAUSEON – Four individuals, including three children, were killed following a two-vehicle crash in Clinton Township Saturday night, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred when a 2013 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Zane Hull, 21, of Delta, was driving eastbound on County Road H. Hull failed to yield the right of way to a 2013 BMW 5 series driven by Muriel Michael, 28, of Wauseon, that was driving southbound on County Road 14. Hull’s vehicle then struck Michael’s vehicle.

Hull was taken by ground ambulance to Fulton County Health Center for non-life threatening injuries.

Michael was taken by air ambulance to Toledo Hospital with serious injuries.

Two children from Michael’s vehicle were taken by air ambulance to St. Vincent’s Medical Center for serious injuries. The children, Aurora Michael, 7, of Delta, and Riggs Brown, 1, of Delta, passed away on Sunday from their injuries.

Michael had two additional passengers who were pronounced deceased at the scene. They were Xavier Brown, 25, of Wauseon, and Deklin Jankowski, 9, Delta.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says not all safety belts were being used at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.

UPDATE – 1PM TUESDAY: Muriel Michael passed away from her injuries on Monday.

UPDATE – 2PM TUESDAY: The further investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol has determined that safety belts and/or child safety seats were in use at the time of the crash by all occupants in both vehicles, with the exception of Xavier Brown.
