Two hospitalized following crash on Hayes Avenue

SANDUSKY – Two individuals were hospitalized Tuesday afternoon following a crash on Hayes Avenue in Sandusky.

According to a report from the Sandusky Police Department, a 2016 Kia Rio was traveling southbound on Hayes Avenue, while a 2001 Ford Expedition was turning northbound onto Hayes. The Expedition, according to the report, failed to yield and stuck the Rio.

The driver and passenger in the Rio were transported to Firelands Regional Medical Center by the Sandusky Fire Department for suspected minor injuries.
