Kyle Witkowski

Kyle Witkowski, 38, went home to be with his Savior on January 8, 2022 with his family by his side.

Kyle was born June 23, 1983 in Portland, OR. He joined Boy Scouts with his brothers and was a gifted student. At 12 yrs old, the dozens of health struggles began. In spite of them, Kyle’s humor, deep gratitude for family & friends and his trusted team of caregivers for over 26 years kept him hopeful and encouraged. His wisdom and sincere patience touched everyone who knew him and gave us the best example of gratefulness in adversity.

Kyle moved to Huron in 2015 to be with the family he loved. He enjoyed going to breakfast on Fridays with his grandfather’s many friends and also their winter Euchre games. He started up the Euchre group at the Huron Library. He could be seen in the front row at The Chapel with his hands held high. He loved being with people, knew how to find the best deals, and his smile lit up the room.

He is survived by his mother, Cheryl (Airhart) Kapa; father, Tim Witkowski; brothers, Andrew Witkowski & Eric Witkowski; grandparents, Forrest & Carolyn Airhart; aunts, Suzanne (Airhart) Thaxton & Lorraine (Airhart) Witkowski; and many other uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

There will be two Memorial Services. If you would like to attend Please text Cheryl 971-221-3831 to receive an E-vite to help us best plan. April 22nd in Portland Oregon from 4:30-6:30 pm at the River House at Rood Bridge Park, 4000 SE Rood Bridge Rd., Hillsboro, OR 97123, and in Huron on July 3rd from 1-3 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, in the Christian Center in the back, at 930 Main Street, Huron, OH 44839.
