One hospitalized after van goes into ditch on SR 99

MONROEVILLE – One individual was hospitalized after a van went into a ditch in Oxford Township Thursday night.

According to a report from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, the van was traveling northbound on State Route 99, near State Route 113. The van, according to the report, went off the roadway and came to rest in a ditch.

According to the report, a passenger in the van was transported to Firelands Regional Medical Center by Mercy Health. Mercy Health, the report states, was also the owner of the van involved in the crash.
