Huron girls defeat Bucyrus in first round of tournament

TIFFIN – In the first round of the playoff tournament, the Huron Tiger girls basketball team defeated the Bucyrus Redmen 55-21.

Prior to the game, the Tigers were 11-5 and ranked fifth in their bracket, and the Redmen were 2-13 and ranked thirteenth.

In the next round, Huron will play the Colonel Crawford Eagles. In the regular season, the Eagles had a record of 7-14.
