One hospitalized after vehicle goes off road in Vermilion Township

VERMILION – One individual was hospitalized after a vehicle went off the side of Thompson Road in Vermilion Township Wednesday evening.

According to a report from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle was traveling northbound, when it failed to negotiate a curve. It went off the right side of the roadway and struck several trees.

The driver of the vehicle the was stuck, a 37-year-old Vermilion woman, was transported to Mercy Regional Medical Center by Vermilion Township Fire.
