Huron County probation officer, retired sergeant passes away

NORWALK – Steve Shupp, a Huron County Juvenile Court probation officer and retired Huron County Sheriff’s Office sergeant, passed away Wednesday morning.

Huron County Sheriff Todd Corbin announced the news. He said that Shupp retired from the Huron County Sheriff’s Office on December 31 and joined the Huron County Juvenile Court as a probation officer in January.

“We ask that you pray for Steve’s family and friends as they mourn the loss of an incredible man,” Sheriff Corbin said.
