Two hospitalized after tractor trailer overturns on US 6

SANDUSKY – Two individuals, including a 12-year-old girl, were hospitalized after a tractor trailer overturned on US 6 in Margaretta Township Monday afternoon.

According to a report from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred when the driver failed to main control while negotiating a curve and lost control of the tractor trailer. The tractor trailer slid off the roadway and overturned.

The driver, a 49-year-old Maple Heights man, and a passenger, a Maple Heights girl, were transported to Firelands Regional Medical Center.
