In overtime, Margaretta boys defeat Huron by two points

CASTALIA – The Margaretta Polar Bears boys varsity basketball team defeated the Huron Tigers 47-45 Friday.

The first quarter ended with Margaretta ahead 9-5. The Polar Bears remained ahead in the second quarter 29-18. The third quarter ended in a 34-34 tie. The fourth quarter also ended in a tie, that one 41-41. The game then went into overtime, where, with just less than a second left, Margaretta took back the lead.

The Huron boys are now 11-2.
