17-year-old girl missing from Sandusky; last seen on December 28

SANDUSKY – 17-year-old Shantaveionia Williams was last seen in Sandusky on Tuesday, December 28 and, as of January 13, is still missing.

Williams is 5’6″, is 120lbs, is black, has black hair, and has brown eyes.

Lt. Scott Dahlgren of the Sandusky Police Department told Huron Insider: “At this time Shantaveionia’s Guardian believes she may have left the state on her own free will. She was making comments about taking a trip but did not have permission to leave. We received some information which was followed up on with negative results and are continuing to investigate where Shantaveionia may be and the circumstances..”

UPDATE: Lt. Scott Dahlgren has confirmed to Huron Insider that Williams is no longer missing and is back home with her guardian.
