Pedestrian dies after being struck while walking on I-75

FINDLAY – An individual was killed Christmas evening after he was stuck by three vehicles while walking on I-75 in Hancock County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The pedestrian, who’s identity hasn’t been released yet, was headed west attempting to cross the southbound lanes of I-75. The pedestrian was first stuck by a 2019 Ford Expedition, operated by Philip Wood, 42, of Rochester, MI. The pedestrian was then struck by a 2012 Ford Escape, operated by Kelsey Flanigan, 29, of Winston Salem, NC. The third and final vehicle to strike the pedestrian was a 2013 Ford Focus, operated by Lucas Row, 27, of Oregon. All three vehicles were traveling south on I-75 at the time of the crash.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Southbound I-75 was shut down for approximately four hours for the crash investigation.
UPDATE: The pedestrian has been identified as William Wells, 43, of Columbus.
