Huron competes in swim meet between Danbury, St. Paul, Willard

NORWALK – The Huron Tiger Swim Team competed in a swim meet between the Danbury Lakers, Norwalk St. Paul Flyers, and Willard Crimson Flashes Wednesday. The meet was held at the Ernsthausen Recreation Center in Norwalk.

Below are some highlights of the Tigers at the meet:

Sophomore Karlee Kurtz finished first in the 200 Yard Freestyle and the 500 Yard Freestyle. She finished the 200 with a time of 2:19.56 and the 500 with a time of 6:16.69.

Junior Grantham Brown finished first in the Boys 200 Yard IM and the 500 Yard Freestyle. He finished the 200 with a time of 2:11.14 and the 500 with a time of 5:16.20.

Junior McKenzie Heil finished first in the Girls 50 Yard Freestyle. She finished with a time of 28.59.

Senior Joey Lenczyk finished first in the Boys 50 Yard Freestyle. He finished with a time of 25.24.

Junior Jared Lenczyk finished first in the Boys 100 Yard Butterfly. He finished with a time of 1:03.51.

Freshman Adalyn Feige finished first in the Girls 100 Yard Backstroke. She finished with a time of 1:17.56.

Samantha Lesnak, Hayden Roshong, McKenzie Keil, and Karlee Kurtz finished first in the Girls 400 Yard Freestyle Relay. They finished the relay with a time of 4:31.25.

Ridge Roshong, Joey Lenczyk, Jared Lenczyk, and Grantham Brown finished first in the Boys 400 Yard Freestyle Relay. They finished the relay with a time of 3:48.53.
