1 missing, 1 dead following boat crash near Huron

HURON – One individual is dead and another is missing after two boats collided in Lake Erie, near the Cranberry Creek Marina in Huron, on Tuesday night.

Crews from Coast Guard and Huron Fire Department searched late Tuesday night and Wednesday morning for an individual who was ejected from one of the boats.

Three individuals were rescued at the scene. One of the individuals has died. The other two were transported to the hospital by the Huron Fire Department.
