Huron Tigers boys cross country win SBC Bay championship; Routh, Schlessman finish first in championship races

TIFFIN – At Saturday’s SBC cross country race, the Huron Tigers boys team won their third consecutive SBC Bay championship. Huron’s Elijah Routh and Kennedy Schlessman also finished first in their races individually.

The Huron boys finished as followed: Elijah Routh (#1), Tyler Kohlmann (#9), Jacob Eck (#11), Ryan Sas (#13), Pearson Keller (#14), Nathan Hinners (#17), Jake Case (#24), Carter Schlessman (#29), Beren Dennis (#32), Thomas Cozzens (#33), Grantham Brown (#34), Will Kastor (#37), Izaiah Polak (#38), Josh Penwell (#50), Mason Gray (#53), Gabe Schwiefert (#54), Dominic Tooman (#55), and Kirill Turovskiy (#58). Times were not provided for the boys.

The Huron girls finished as followed: Kennedy Schlessman (19:08, #1), Jadyn Towns (20:08, #4), Samantha Lesnak (21:15, #8), Lucy Watson (22:49, #20), Sydney Hall (23:50, #27), Allison Blevins (24:05, #29), Alyssa Enderle (25:05, #36), Addison Fries (25:05, #37), Julia Jones (25:39, #41), Morgan Shelton (25:43, #42), Ellee Foster (26:26, #47), Reagan Fry (26:32, #49), Katherine Scherley (26:37, #50), Chloe Pfeiffer (26:46, #52), Denise Sherer (28:16, #55), Blair Poltorek (28:38, #56), and Mia Boldman (29:57, #60).

The Edison Chargers won the SBC Bay girls championship.
