110 new cases of COVID-19, two new COVID-19 deaths in Erie County in past week

SANDUSKY – Since August 2, there have been 100 new cases of COVID-19 and two COVID-19 deaths in Erie County. 8,735 people have now tested positive for COVID-19 in Erie County, and 215 people have now died from COVID-19 in Erie County. 11 people are currently being treated for COVID-19 at Firelands Regional Medical Center.

Due to a recent surge in COVID-19 spread in Erie County, the Erie County Health Department is now releasing updated COVID-19 numbers every Tuesday. Huron Insider will be posting those numbers.
