Huron Tiger boys and girls finish runner-up at Artie Miller Invite

HURON – At Saturday’s Artie Miller Invite, both the Huron Tiger boys and girls finished second. The invite was held at Huron.

Below are some highlights of the meet

In the Boys 100 Meter Dash; Benedictine’s Brandon Body Jr finished first with a time of 11.24, Elyria’s Andrew Palos finished second with a time of 11.32, and Elyria Catholic’s Jack Budinger finished third with a time of 11.68.

In the Girls 100 Meter Dash; Euclid’s Talia Mclin finished first with a time of 12.97, Euclid’s Eve Clark finished second with a time of 13.04, and Euclid’s Stacey Legg finished third with a time of 13.17.

In the Boys 200 Meter Dash; Bellevue’s Drew Lemaster finished first with a time of 23.03, Euclid’s Cameron Smith finished second with a time of 23.10, and Elyria’s Andrew Palos finished third with a time of 23.29.

In the Girls 200 Meter Dash; Huron’s Isabella Cozzie finished first with a time of 26.02, Euclid’s Talia Mclin finished second with a time of 26.73, and Elyria’s Kyah Shine finished third with a time of 27.10. Cozzie set a new meet, stadium, and school record in this dash.

In the Boys 400 Meter Dash; Huron’s Jacob Eck finished first with a time of 52.31, Willard’s Trenton Rupert finished second with a time of 52.60, and Huron’s Zach Weyer finished third with a time of 52.71.

In the Girls 400 Meter Dash; Willard’s Mckenna Stephens finished first with a time of 59.67, Clyde’s Braylin Caudill finished second with a time of 1:02.56, and Huron’s Isabella Cozzie finished third with a time of 1:03.53.

In the Boys 800 Meter Run; St. Mary’s Mason Blank finished first with a time of 2:05.50, Edison’s Cole Weilnau finished second with a time of 2:07.01, and Wauseon’s Jackson Callan finished third with a time of 2:07.74.

In the Girls 800 Meter Run; Willard’s Layla Dials finished first with a time of 2:27.85, Euclid’s Jade Neal finished second with a time of 2:33.66, and Edison’s Peyton Facemire finished third with a time of 2:37.58.

In the Boys 1600 Meter Run; Wauseon’s Braden Vernot finished first with a time of 4:37.31, St. Mary’s Mason Blank finished second with a time of 4:42.02, and Wauseon’s Jackson Callan finished third with a time of 4:44.76.

In the Girls 1600 Meter Run, Edison’s Abby Lesniak finished first with a time of 5:20.89, Huron’s Kennedy Schlessman finished second with a time of 5:25.94, and Willard’s Destiney Rose finished third with a time of 5:26.95.

In the Boys 3200 Meter Run; Wauseon’s Braden Vernot finished first with a time of 9:47.00, Huron’s Elijah Routh finished second with a time of 10:12.00, and Wauseon’s Hunter Wasnich finished third with a time of 10:24.00.

In the Girls 3200 Meter Run; Wauseon’s Grace Rhoades finished first with a time of 12:02.84, Huron’s Jadyn Towns finished second with a time of 12:18.37, and Wauseon’s Maggie Duden finished third with a time of 12:38.02.

In the Boys 110 Meter Hurdles; Clyde’s Brady Wilson finished first with a time of 15.03, Elyria’s Perryion Benton finished second with a time of 15.08, and Edison’s Garrett Scott finished third with a time of 15.66.

In the Girls 100 Meter Hurdles; Elyria’s Serina Dues finished first with a time of 16.08, Bellevue’s Sydney Waskielis finished second with a time of 16.47, and Edison’s Torri Keyser finished third with a time of 16.59.

In the Boys 300 Meter Hurdles; Clyde’s Brady Wilson finished first with a time of 40.32, Elyria’s Perryion Benton finished second with a time of 40.35, and Edison’s Garrett Scott finished third with a time of 42.04.

In the Girls 300 Meter Hurdles; Elyria’s Serina Dues finished first with a time of 47.63, Bellevue’s Sydney Waskielis finished second with a time of 50.63, and Edison’s Torri Keyser finished third with a time of 50.66.

In the Boys 4×100 Meter Relay; Elyria finished first with a time of 44.24, Euclid finished second with a time of 44.82, and Bellevue finished third with a time of 45.13.

In the Girls 4×100 Meter Relay; Huron finished first with a time of 50.54, Euclid finished second with a time of 50.55, and Elyria finished third with a time of 50.93. The Huron team set a new meet and stadium record.

In the Boys 4×200 Meter Relay; Euclid finished first with a time of 1:31.67, Huron finished second with a time of 1:32.67, and Benedictine finished third with a time of 1:33.53.

In the Girls 4×200 Meter Relay; Huron finished first with a time of 1:47.15, Euclid finished second with a time of 1:47.31, and Clyde finished third with a time of 1:51.99. The Huron team broke the meet record.

In the Boys 4×400 Meter Relay; Huron finished first with a time of 3:29.05, Euclid finished second with a time of 3:33.05, and Clyde finished third with a time of 3:40.96.

In the Girls 4×400 Meter Relay; Euclid finished first with a time of 4:13.20, Willard finished second with a time of 4:21.52, and Clyde finished third with a time of 4:23.50.

In the Boys 4×800 Meter Relay; Huron finished first with a time of 8:17.75, Wauseon finished second with a time of 8:28.77, and Clyde finished third with a time of 8:55.27.

In the Girls 4×800 Meter Relay; Edison finished first with a time of 10:25.12, Wauseon finished second with a time of 10:46.88, and Bellevue finished third with a time of 10:56.64.

In the Boys High Jump, Edison’s Dylan Odell finished first with 6’4”, Huron’s Sean Kaminski finished second with 6’0”, and Clyde’s Gabe Leal finished third with 6’0”.

In the Girls High Jump; St. Mary’s Hailey Bahnsen finished first with 5’0″, Edison’s Torri Keyser finished second with 5’0”, and Bellevue’s Ella Rucker finished third with 5’0″.

In the Boys Long Jump; St. Mary’s Cole Kromer finished first with 20’10″, Wauseon’s Jonas Tester finished second with 20’5.5”, and Elyria’s Jasir Lucky finished third with 19’3″.

In the Girls Long Jump; Clyde’s Keira Morris finished first with 16’5.5″, Huron’s Jaden Carey finished second with 16’3.5″, and Euclid’s Alaysia McKinney finished third with 15’8.25″.

In the Boys Pole Vault, Clyde’s Lance Laughlin finished first with 11′7″, Bellevue’s Carson Layne finished second with 10’6″, and Huron’s Quin Spitzley finished third with 10’6″.

In the Girls Pole Vault, St. Mary’s Mazzara Lynch finished first with 9′6″, Wauseon’s Tegan Rupp finished second with 8′0″, and Edison’s Katelyn Jeremay finished third with 8′0″.

In the Boys Discus; Lutheran’s Jack Jedick finished first with 141’2″, Euclid’s Glen Hamblin finished second with 121’0″, and Wauseon’s Jackson Bauer finished third with 117’10″.

In the Girls Discus; Bellevue’s Kaylin Howie finished first with 120’8″, Clyde’s Kaylee Wampler finished second with 118’7″, and Wauseon’s Marie Hutchinson finished third with 114’1″.

In the Boys Shot Put; Lutheran’s Jack Jedick finished first with 46’9″, Wauseon’s Jackson Bauer finished second with 44’8.5″, and Benedictine’s Thomas Jolly Jr finished third with 43’10.5″.

In the Girls Shot Put; Bellevue’s Kaylin Howie finished first with 37’4″, Clyde’s Kaylee Wampler finished second with 34’10″, and Wauseon’s Marie Hutchinson finished third with 32’1″.
