One year since first Huron Insider Coronavirus Update

COLUMBUS and SANDUSKY – On Sunday, April 12, 2020, Huron Insider posted the first Coronavirus Update. Back then, Ohio was under a stay at home order. Now, exactly one year later, Ohio is finally starting to get back to normal. Sadly, during the past year, many Ohioans tested positive for COVID-19, were hospitalized from COVID-19, and died from COVID-19.

In Erie County; 4,812 people have tested positive for COVID-19, 681 people were hospitalized from COVID-19, and 208 people died from COVID-19. In the State of Ohio; 872,876 people tested positive for COVID-19, 52,219 people were hospitalized from COVID-19, and 18,579 people died from COVID-19.
