11 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed and eight new COVID-19 deaths in Erie County

Columbus, OH and Sandusky, OH – Since Wednesday in Erie County, 11 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 4,452. Eight more people died from COVID-19. 182 people have now died from COVID-19 in Erie County. There were no new COVID-19 hospitalizations. Five people are currently being hospitalized for COVID-19 at Firelands. 626 total people have been hospitalized. 200 people are also currently under quarantine or isolation.

Since Thursday in the State of Ohio, 1,436 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 817,493. 82 more people died from COVID-19. 16,693 people have now died of COVID-19 in Ohio. 152 people were hospitalized. 27,378 people begun the vaccination process. 1,339,886 people in Ohio or 11.95% of Ohio’s population have now begun the vaccination process. 37,456 people also finished the vaccination process. 576,534 people or 4.93% of Ohio’s population have now finished the vaccination process.
