At the Tuesday, January 5, 2021 Huron Joint Recreation District Board meeting, Parks & Recreation Operations Manager Doug Steinwart announced that Nickel Plate Beach saw a significant increase in visitors and revenue in 2020. The average revenue of ticket sales for the beach is $35,000. In 2020, the revenue was nearly $81,000.
