Sheriff’s Office searching for potential victims of food delivery driver

NORWALK – The Huron County Sheriff’s Office is asking the anyone who may be a victim or know a victim of a sex offender who recently worked for an online food delivery service to come forward.

Dedric Burton, 45, was arrested on Friday for charges of menacing by stalking and is currently being held in the Huron County Jail. In 1998, Burton was convicted of rape and gross sexual imposition in Richland County and was classified as a sexual predator.

The Sheriff’s Office says that Burton, who now lives in Norwalk, has been working for an online food delivery service under a different name, and they believe there he may have other victims.

Burton is approximately 5’10” tall and 240 lbs. He drives a 2011 white Mazda 3 with a plate number of KCG4653.

Anyone who may be a victim, know a victim, or have information related to Burton is asked to contact Detective Frank Gleason of the Huron County Sheriff’s Office at 419-663-2828 ext. 1613.
