Alvaro Antonio Samaniego

A. Antonio Samaniego passed away on December 8th, 2020.

He was born in Medellin, Colombia, South America on November 16th, 1957. Those who know him described him as a fighter and full of passion for life. Antonio fought for life for many years and won many battles. He lived his life in the service to others and lived to help and encourage all those who interacted with him.He is known as a man full of love, hope and faith. Regardless of the pain and aches he endured every day, he made it his mission to spread love, hope, and faith to others. Our father had been tired for so very long. We are all grateful for the time we had together and are elated that he is finally at peace and able to rest.

He is survived by his daughters Natasha Bahnsen, Natalia Samaniego, his son, Nicolas Samaniego, and his darling grandchildren Karaline E. Bahnsen and Eliana L. Samaniego.

Antonio was a member of the Huron Rotary Club and an active attendant at the Chapel.

Antonio lived his life filled with love, hope and faith in service to others and encouraged others to do the same.

Friends may call Sunday, December 13th from 3-5 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron where a Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Pastor, Jay Halley, from The Chapel, will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to The Chapel, 4444 Galloway Rd, Sandusky, 44870 or the Huron Rotary Club.
