K-9 allegedly helps find 5 grams of meth, drug paraphernalia and gun in vehicle

VERMILION – Police say that a K-9 helped them find a large amount of drugs and gun in a vehicle early Friday morning.

According to the Vermilion Police Department, the incident started at 1:12 AM Friday, when a traffic stop was conducted on Liberty Ave for a moving violation.

Police say that during the stop, the driver, Emanuel Feier, 43, of Sheffield Village, was asked to exit the vehicle and when he did, a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine fell off of his lap and shattered in-front of an officer.
