Wrapped in human skin' teddy bear discovered at a gas station

A teddy bear thought to be wrapped in human skin was discovered at a California gas station on Sunday afternoon, prompting a coroner’s investigation.

Officials responded to a call about an object that “appeared to be human remains” in the 13600 block of Bear Valley Road in Victorville around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Mara Rodriguez.

Photos from the scene show a teddy bear sitting upright at the storefront, which is cordoned off with yellow crime scene tape.

According to witnesses, the terrifying bear appeared to have a face-like piece sewn onto its head, as reported by Victor Valley News.
A skin-like material was allegedly stitched across its body. A coroner investigator went to the scene and collected the evidence for further testing.

Many people believe that this is a staged prank or art piece.

A similar-looking teddy bear made of fake gore is for sale on Etsy under the name “human skin teddy bear.” It is being sold online for $165.

The creator, Dark Seed Creations, addressed the incident on their Facebook page.

“I can’t make this up! One of my skin teddy bears was apparently involved in a prank that attracted police attention! “This is f——g wild,” they wrote.

Authorities are investigating the incident but have been unable to verify the information.

The scene was cleared around 2:15 p.m., and the gas station reopened for public use.
