A Florida woman was arrested after allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, throwing his clothes in a pile, and then pouring bleach on them.
Tocarra Moore, 41, is accused of domestic battery and criminal mischief. According to a probable cause arrest affidavit reviewed by Law&Crime, the victim reported waking up around 9 a.m. on Monday to find Moore on top of him, striking him on his back at their St. Petersburg home. Cops later discovered a “visible injury” on his shoulder blade, which they believe supported the assault claim.
The boyfriend stated that he did not call the police but instead left the house to “remove himself from the situation,” according to the affidavit. He asked his child’s mother to pick him up from the general area. However, Moore allegedly tracked them down and confronted them in a Walgreens parking lot. Moore allegedly pushed the victim as he attempted to separate the two women. The altercation was captured on surveillance video, police said.
Moore then returned to her home and removed several items of the victim’s clothing, believing the victim was cheating on her, according to cops. According to cops, she had one of her children video her as she poured bleach all over the clothing. Moore sent the video to the victim, who showed it to cops, allegedly providing evidence to arrest her for criminal mischief. According to police, the clothes were estimated to cost between $2,500 and $3,000.
Moore was arrested and taken to the Pinellas County Jail, where she later posted a $5,500 bond. Her next court date is not listed.
