A Kentucky woman has been charged with attempted murder, more than three months after allegedly attempting to set fire to her sister’s mattress while she slept.

According to an arrest warrant obtained by local Louisville outlets WLKY, WHAS 11, and WAVE, 22-year-old Addison Brown was initially charged with intentionally setting fire to her sister’s bed on June 1.

According to the warrant, Brown’s sister told arson investigators with the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) in June that she awoke to find her bed engulfed in flames and immediately rolled out. She then extinguished the fire with a pillow, and by the time emergency services arrived at her home, a duplex with multiple units, the flames were out.

Brown allegedly fled the scene before investigators arrived, according to reports.

According to reports, in addition to Brown’s sister, four other people, including a minor, were present at the duplex when the fire started.

According to the arrest warrant, detectives discovered that Brown had sent messages to several people, including her sister, admitting that she intentionally set fire to the mattress in order to kill her sister.

The LMPD did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for additional information.

Nearly four months after the initial incident, Brown was arrested on Friday, September 12, and charged with attempted murder (domestic violence), arson, and four counts of wanton endangerment, according to media reports.

First-degree arson is a felony in Kentucky, punishable by 20 to 50 years in prison. Wanton endangerment is a felony punishable by up to five years in prison or a $10,000 fine. Attempted murder carries a 10- to 20-year prison sentence and a $10,000 fine.

According to WLKY, a judge set Brown’s bond at $250,000, and she will next appear in court on Monday, September 22.
