Sioux City, Iowa — A Sioux City woman was arrested in Nebraska after a missing boy was discovered safe.

Lilyanna Romero-Hoffman, 20, was charged with violating a custody order and receiving stolen property totaling more than $5,000. She is currently in the Lancaster County Jail.

According to the Nebraska State Patrol, South Sioux City Police have requested an Endangered Missing Advisory (EMA) for Nicco Hoffman, 5, who has not been seen in several hours and may be with his adult sister, Lilyanna. Authorities stated that an advisory was issued Sunday evening.

Lilyanna’s vehicle was seen traveling west on I-80 between Omaha and Lincoln. Law enforcement said they conducted a traffic stop around 6 p.m., and Nicco was recovered and safely returned to his family later.
