Valentine, Nebraska – A semi-truck driver is facing charges after authorities say she was using drugs while driving in Valentine. Christina Dodge, 40, of Colorado Springs, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and driving under the influence of drugs.
According to the Nebraska State Patrol, a trooper stopped a black semi-truck at 3rd and Cherry Streets around 11:41 p.m. on July 21 for missing license plates. The trooper suspected Dodge was under the influence and sought assistance from the Valentine Police K-9 unit.
The Valentine Police Department and the Cherry County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Nebraska State Patrol during this incident.
