- 20th Annual Generous Helpings
Sunday, September 28, 5-8 PM at Nordson Food Distribution Center. Enjoy an evening of local restaurants showcasing their specialties, along with fine wine and ales, raffles, and live entertainment by Cats On Holiday. This event brings the community together to make a difference. - Farm Stands with Solidarity
Every Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM outside Magdalen’s Coffee, featuring organically grown veggies, jams, syrup, herbs, and tea blends. EBT/SNAP, WIC, cash, and credit/debit accepted. - Trunk or Treat at Black River Landing
A family-friendly event with candy, resources, literacy activities, and literacy swag bags for children. Open to children of all ages, costumes encouraged but not required. - Monthly Coffee & Conversation by Main Street Lorain
An opportunity to meet community leaders, business owners, and neighbors to discuss the future of downtown Lorain. Last Wednesday of every month.
Additional activities later in October include the Monster Mash Dash fun run and walk on October 4 with costume contests and prizes, and live music events at the Lorain Palace Theatre.
